Refugee World Cup and Family fund day at Albert park

Another refugee world cup and family fun day  2019! The park was buzzing with lots of activities like Henna, face painting, football tournament, bouncing castle, delicious hot meal, and lots more. The universities were not left out; Manchester University and the University of Salford had their stalls set up with advice sessions on education and games.The community were also involved in and the atmosphere on the pitches and the park was extremely enjoyable. Over the course of the day over 700 people enjoyed the activities including 300 footballers, 30 volunteers, many service users and members of the local community.
A big thanks to everyone who played or came to support. It was indeed a huge success!
